The 2023 Home for the Holidays Showhouse, hosted by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and presented by Pradera Group, made its debut in Atlanta’s Chastain Park neighborhood on November 15.
The sprawling California contemporary home, designed by noted architect Rodolfo Castro, is situated on a lot and a half in Buckhead. Measuring nearly 14,000 square feet, the residence is warm and welcoming thanks to the talents of the 24 interior designers who decorated the home for the holiday season. Kit Castaldo Designs acted as lead specifications designer, and landscape design was overseen by firms Floralis and Live Oak Manors.
The monthlong event benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and features the city’s most celebrated interior designers and firms, including honorary chair Barbara Westbrook, Justin Q. Williams, Kit Castaldo of Kit Castaldo Designs, Marcel Olariu of Kingdom Woodworks and Jessica Bradley of Jessica Bradley Interiors.
Centered around the theme Moonlight & Mistletoe, the opening night event was attended by 250 people. Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles’ publisher Elizabeth Ralls and editor in chief Lauren Iverson made introductory remarks, followed by Alex Fowlkes of Children’s Healthcare, principal designer Castaldo and Pradera Group’s Jarrett Keim.
“What an honor it is to share this contemporary masterpiece, fully decked out for the holiday season, with the Atlanta community,” said Ralls.
Home for the Holidays Showhouse is open to the public for tours through December 10, 2023.
