THE POSITION

Junior Interior Designer with 2+ years of high end residential design experience.
Will work alongside principal and senior designers in all phases of the design process from concept through installation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Sourcing furniture, finishes, fabrics
- Assist in developing and preparing client presentations
- Interact with vendors and contractors to procure estimates, place orders and follow up on outstanding orders
- Assist in managing project calendars, budgets and administrative details
- Manage materials library

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

- Holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
- Is highly resourceful, organized and self-motivated
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and can think several steps ahead
- Can skillfully juggle multiple projects at the same time
- Is highly attentive to detail
- Working knowledge of the marketplace and existing relationships with vendors is a plus
- Corresponds with clients and vendors with the highest level of clarity and professionalism
- Has excellent taste but can flexibly envision schemes for a wide variety of clients
- Is adept in AutoCAD and proficient in Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Possesses an excellent sense of humor and takes pride in their work
- Is comfortable working in a dog friendly environment
