We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our interior design projects, retail store, and new showroom. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Design Manager and Shopify, along with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Hours: 15-25 hours per week

• Previous bookkeeping experience required, preferably in an interior design or retail environment
• Proficiency in Design Manager and Shopify
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounts receivable and payable for interior design projects, retail store, and showroom
• Manage payroll and business insurance
• Enter transactional activity into Design Manager and Shopify
• Reconcile bank, credit card accounts, and petty cash
• Produce and review financial reports to support client projects
• Provide invoicing support for both interior design projects and retail sales
• Prepare monthly sales tax filings
• Manage day-to-day account management, client relations, and communication
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely financial reporting and accuracy
• Prepare weekly to bi-weekly financial reports for CPA
